AVAILABILITY OF BRANCH SERVICES DURING DECEMBER AND JANUARY

 Auckland – closed 19th December reopen 19th January.

Canterbury  - closed 19th December reopen Monday 12th January

 

Central Hawkes Bay – closed 17th December reopen 4th February – clients can request services via facebook during this time.

 

Dunedin - closed 18th December reopen 12th January. Contacts for emergency requests during this time should be made by message on Facebook.

 

Greater Wellington - closed 19th December reopen 12th January.

 

Invercargill closed 17th December reopen 13th January.  For urgent requests 03 215 6720 and 0278 185 565.

 

Taranaki - closed 18th December reopen 20th January.  Urgent enquires/requests should be left on the office phone 06 7655042

 

Taupo - closed 23rd December reopen 5th January.  The Office phone and facebook pages will be checked for messages, phone 021 1548848 for emergencies.

HOW WE CAN HELP YOU?

Services of Pregnancy Help are:

  • Information & Guidance
  • Referral Service & Advocacy
  • Telephone & Email Support
  • Practical Support - Baby Clothing, and Nursery Items
  • Additional services are also provided and vary from branch to branch - pregnancy tests,  qualified counselling, drop in centres, birthing/parenting support programmes, home/hospital visits.

Pregnancy Help proud to be taking part in Safe Sleep Day on 5 December and to be promoting key safe sleeping messages, for every baby every sleep- 

Mata ki te rangi, i tōna moenga motuhake 
Back to sleep in baby’s own bed

PLACE baby in his or her own baby bed, face clear of bedding, in the same room as a caregiver

ELIMINATE smoking in pregnancy, and protect baby with a smoke free whanau, whare and waka 

POSITION baby flat on his or her back to sleep, face up towards the heavens 

ENCOURAGE and support mum, so baby is breastfed
