Volunteer Roles

Telephone Assistant - each branch offers varied hours for this service and in some cases calls can be taken in the Volunteers own home.

Fieldworker - meets in the clients home to deliver equipment and or explore the most appropriate support for her and her family.

Organises follow up help and maintains contact where appropriate.

Other Roles - these are available in some branches.

Home Support - supports client in client's home.
Transporter - provides transport for client to attend appointments.
Maternity Visits - vists are made to the woman in the hospital.

Other Volunteer Possiblities
Knitting, Sewing, Mending and sorting of baby and maternity clothing
Committe members
Helping with fundraising events, newsletters, organising gatherings

Pregnancy Tests

Free pregnancy tests are available at Pregnancy Help Auckland, Taranaki & Canterbury offices.
